Representative of Thanh Binh Phu My joined delegate of Phu My town’s local authority in visiting veterans’ family in Phu My town.
In the observation of Viet Nam's War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27) this year, Thanh Binh Phu My JSC (TBPM) feels very honored to be invited to join the delegation of Phu My town to visit 50 families, whose members are either veterans or martyrs, who served the American war. During this short courtesy visit, representatives of TBPM had a precious opportunity to listen to the powerful stories of the veterans during the wartime. Their story enabled everyone to explore their courage and sacrifice in the mission of defending our country. In addition, the delegates feel so grateful to what they and their family have done for the country and therefore it is our responsibility to maintain peace and contribute to the social and economic development of Vietnam.
Along with the leaders of Phu My town, within two days, we paid a courtesy visit to 50 families living in scattering places, such as Tan Phuoc ward, Phuoc Hoa ward, and Song Xoai hamlet. Upon listening to their stories, in turn, we sent our best regards and warm wishes to them and their family. Furthermore, we presented a humble gift to show our care and appreciation.
“As a Japanese person, I found this visit meaningful since it helped me to understand more of Vietnam in a historical aspect in addition to economic ones. Listening to the stories of veterans makes me believe that Vietnamese people are resilient, courageous, and patriotic. The trip confirmed my belief that peace is the most important to any individual and society” said to Misawa Hitoshi – General Manager of Thanh Binh Phu My during this visit.
This visit to veteran’s family partly shows our commitment to sustainable development, which focuses on not only economic development but also responsibility towards the community around us. We acknowledge that without the kind support of this community, our company’s growth cannot be as flourished as it is now.
Taking this opportunity, on behalf of board of Director of TBPM, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude and best wishes to all veterans and their family for their significant sacrifice to the homeland. We wish them a good health and source of joy.
